How can I create orders from Invoices?

I am trying to figure out a way that I can create an order from an invoice so that I can follow the order through to delivery. I feel like the invoices do not do that for me. I don't want to always have to print off an invoice to keep track of an order. I'd like to do that in Square. 

I am a small in-home business and I do not have a large POS system to use. I'm hoping someone can help me make better use of square invoicing and ordering to help me track orders through development.
