Has anyone had problems accepting apple pay?

Several of my customers have used apple pay to pay their invoices for 5 years.  Within the last few weeks,  it won't work for them anymore.  Help!

If they aren't in Apple's web browser Safari it won't get the option of Apple Pay.  If you are in Chrome or Firefox or opera etc it won't be an option

The first thought I had is are they using Safari or did something change and they are now using Chrome, you have to be in safari for Apple Pay.  Does it give them an error or it just isn't an option

It didn't give her an apple pay option.  This just started about 2 weeks ago

Unfortunately, this answer is not accurate.

We tested all three browsers and they worked perfectly fine in our test.

Our client, who cannot use Apple Pay for our invoice, is using Safari as her browser.

Hi @Thechipfund, just jumping in to see if I can assist !

Were you able to check with your customers whether they used Safari or Chrome when paying their invoices ? As @VanKalkerFarms mentioned, Apple Pay isn't an option on Chrome. Are they using laptops or mobile devices ?

The first troubleshooting step here would be to recreate this on your end - could you try sending yourself a test invoice and open it on both your laptop and mobile on Safari. Is Apple Pay available for you or not ?

We are having the same issue and the client is using an iPhone and Safari. There is no Apple Pay option even though the invoice is set to accept all payment types. We canceled the first invoice and created a 2nd new invoice. Still no Apple Pay option.

The client showed me her phone and how she can successfully pay another vendor invoice with Apple Pay. Yet, our client cannot use the simple Apple Pay for our invoice and must manually enter payment.

We created a bunch of $.10 invoices to our staff and were able to successfully pay them via Safari, Google and Chrome. Testing the system worked for $.10 but not for a real client and a real invoice.

We have hated Square from Day 1 and this is just one more unresolved issue.

We also pay for Invoices Plus so this is not using a free service.

I have the same problem. A customer cannot pay with clicking the apply pay button like normal, he had to enter in his CC number manually. The fact that there is no fix posted is disheartening...
