Afterpay Online

I have been requesting assistance for nearly 1 year regarding being able to provide my customers with the opportunity to use Afterpay to chose for a form of payment through their invoices. I am not allowed the permission to provide use of that for online invoices. That option is greyed out and I'm not able to select that for my invoices. I am losing business due to other people in my same line of business who are able to offer this to their customers. Please assist with my account and tell me how I am able to get this option to work for my business and customer's..

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. I understand how important it is for your business to offer Afterpay as a payment option for your customers. 

 

Eligibility for Afterpay is dependent on numerous factors, including how your business is structured and what you sell. Here are some notes to keep in mind:

 

  • Sellers must be in an approved merchant category

  • Sellers must be based in the United States

  • Local delivery orders not supported

  • QR code ordering not supported

  • Item or cart totals outside of the eligible purchase range not supported

  • Restricted digital goods or services not supported

  • Cross-border orders not supported

  • Website must be in English (we look forward to adding Spanish support for Afterpay in the future)

We'll work to expand availability of Afterpay over time to give more sellers the opportunity to enable it on their sites. Review our Afterpay Merchant Terms for more information on eligibility, merchant categories, and more.
