Square Register Support of 58mm Sticky Labels

Square Register Support of 58mm Sticky Labels

Please update Square Register to allow cafes and coffee shops to use 58mm sticky label paper rolls on the Star TSP654IISK Sticky Label Printer

The Square iOS app on Apple phones/tablets allows us to change the paper size from 80mm to 58mm.  However, Square Register has no such feature which seems very odd considering it is (or at least appears to be) your flagship product.

80mm size sticky labels are too large to fit on standard-sized cups (8, 10, 12, and 16oz) and barely fit on 20oz.  58mm paper scales the font just right and the labels are able to fit on all sizes of cups very nicely

I've already done things like remove the margin at the top of the ticket and reduce name length to the best of my ability - but I also shouldn't have to "hack" my way around a product (and a software) that advertises its ability to accommodate 58mm paper.  The issue of tickets being too large is exacerbated by the additional information printed on the ticket when it's an online order (or worse - an online order for delivery and it has all the DoorDash pickup time info on it) - I can't even wrap the ticket around the cup sideways as it starts to overlap on some of the smaller sized cups

If the option to select between 80mm and 58mm sticky paper is ALREADY an option for the iOS square app, I'm just confused why it isn't an option on your other hardware like Square Register.  Is there a way to get this option rolled out to Square Registers?

Thank you!

Still no solution to this? I have tried everything to make the smaller label sizes work with my square register. I have a coffee shop and the 80mm labels are way too big. The smaller labels work on my iPad. Why not on the $800 device I bought from you. I wouldn't have bought the register and printer if I would have known it only printed the large size.

Thank you for submitting this! WE NEED THIS! Hoping this gets implemented very soon! If they have done it with other software they should be able to do it with the register!!

Thank you for the comment about Square Register and its non-support 58mm sticky paper.  I asked the same thing over a year ago. Just doesn't make any sense. I did hear a rumor 6 months ago that it would be implemented this month. But just a rumor. It really frustrates me when I go to other bubble tea shops that use other system and they have nice small sticky labels for their cups. Even thought about leaving Square many times, but we already have so much invested. And we have these huge labels that are so ugly on our 16, 20, and 24 oz pet cups.

Hello,

Come on Square this is urgent!!  For all of us selling beverages we need support for 58mm sticky paper.  The Star TSP654IISK supports it. Other systems support small sticky labels, why can't Square Register?

Square Register 58mm sticky paper? When? if not soon, why?

Bump....still waiting 4 years later...wondering Why I am still paying Square....looks like they don't need my business anymore. My patience is running out

I've been wondering why there wasn't a update

Stopping in to find if there was an update yet, it doesn't look like it. But we could really use it for our drinks! We still use our iPad system at our drive-thru window, and use the Square register at our counter inside. It's extremely frustrating that Square obviously supports this little feature on one operating system, but not the other. Hoping there's an update soon!
