There is an issue with the way the contracts are displayed after the template is selected, modified, and ready to send.
When the contract is displayed, the full information for the Recipient is not included. Specifically, it does not include the Company Name. This is a major issue, as generally the contract is intended to bind the company, through the individual. If the company name is not displayed, the contract is likely not binding upon the Company. See the issue?
There is a similar issue with how the "Business" contact information is displayed. No name in this case, but at least the business is listed.
I'm not sure why this is an issue. Just make the Business and Recipient display exactly the same as Invoices, and it's fine.
You also need to include the company in the declarative language at the top of the contract.
"This contract is between Kirk Longhofer dba The Technopraxis Group (the "Business") and xxx (the "Client") dated 04/14/2024."
This needs to have the individual and company name (or easier still, just a reference to the companies listed above (assuming they are complete and correct.)
"This contract is between Kirk Longhofer dba The Technopraxis Group (the "Business") and the individual and/or entity referenced above (the "Client") dated 04/14/2024."
Ideally, I'd like to customize that initial declarative language. Actually, you SHOULD just make it the first clause so that it can be edited to fit the use case.
This is kind of a deal killer in terms of using contracts... please make this change ASAP!

Hey there @klonghofer, thanks for flagging this over to the Seller Community. I see this is your first post, we are happy to have you!
Can you provide a screenshot of what is showing on the contract? To clarify the main issue is that the recipient's full name and business name do not show on the contract.
For your second inquiry, editing declarative language on the contract is a feature request. Feel free to submit this suggestion on our Ideate Board.

Well... I would like to include a screenshot, but it says I do not have permission to upload images.
You are correct. The recipient business name is not showing on the contract. If the contract simply mirrored who names of both the sender and recipient are displayed on invoices, that would solve this particular problem. Without the name of the company, the contract feature is essentially worthless.

You should be able to upload a picture. Can you try logging out of the Seller Community, clearing your cookies and cache, and logging back in @klonghofer?

I to tried to insert a picture example as well. no go! Why doesn't this forum have an 'upload' button versus 'insert/edit image'?
Anyway, I have the same problem. I would like the Company Name to show up first versus the contact person's name.
