Is there a way to delete a Contract Form at the time you schedule an appointment?

I recently decided to try out Square Forms (Contracts).

Previously, I was sending my own to clients (as a downloaded link on my website).

I created a "Cancellation Policy" for clients to sign and submit. I didn't want the form to ALWAYS send to all clients, nor do I want to send to each new client as an attachment I must always attach per client.

I ended up using the "send to all clients that haven't submitted" as an automatic link.

However, I have clients that are long term regulars and are well aware of my cancellation policy and I don't really want to require them to sign the new policy form. For now, the Forms settings just continuously send the form link and it gets "ignored" by long term regulars.

I don't see an option or function to delete or remove the form as an "over-ride" for those clients. Is there such an option? Or...if not, can one possibly be created?

I understand that if and when clients book their own sessions, they wouldn't be able to delete the auto send link on their end, so that's only half the issue.

Maybe enabling another option for the forms / contracts like allowing the forms/contracts JUST new clients? And then a User can manually attach to any previous clients that they desire to?

Thanks!

Hello @KTTT

Although Contracts have been around for a while, this Forms feature within the Appointments tool is fairly new and new functionalities will likely be added in the future.

At this time, there isn't an ideal way to exclude specific clients from receiving new forms.

The contracts can be canceled from the Contracts screen in your Square Dashboard.

If they are canceled before the client signs, your client will no longer be able to sign, and they'll see a "Voided. Keep a copy for your records" message if they follow the link.

The downside here is that the next time the client books an appointment because there is no record of them ever signing the contract, it will be sent again.

I would recommend posting any feature request in the Ideate boards here in the Community, as product teams have direct visibility of these requests and other sellers can add their voice if they need the same feature.

Hopefully, we see a better way to override these forms soon!

Thank you

Thanks. I guess for now I'll discontinue with the Forms function then, at least for forms I want to use for large groups of new clients that replicate and existing form created on some other platform.
