Accepting credit card payments

I'm trying to get my sellers license in California and one of the questions is " Will the business be accepting credit card payments?". I am allowing credit card payments but square is the one actually receiving the money from the credit card which then gets passed down to me, so what should I answer? Thanks in advance.

Hello @Capt_Golden thanks for your post. I think your answer would be YES to the fact that you will be accepting credit card payments. Square is just the payment processor, just as if you were to utilize another payment processor...you'd still be the merchant accepting credit cards as payments. I'm not sure what the implications are in California for this question, but there must be a reason the State is asking this question.
