How can I get my checking statement in CSV form?

Previously there was an option to download my Square checking statements in CSV form. I put the statement in a spreadsheet so I can sort out where money is going and when and to who.

Square has eliminated the option to download the statement as a CSV and it is now only available as a PDF. The PDF is not sortable and does not allow me to manage the data about my account. I really need a way to get the PDF data into CSV form but I have not had any luck converting the file type.

I have thousands of transactions in my statement so manually entering the data into my spreadsheet is not a viable option.

Does anyone know of a way to get this data into a spreadsheet-friendly form?

Thank you

Hello there @SageIntentions and welcome to the Seller Community

For the longest time, our Sellers requested that the statements were provided in PDF form as most financial institutions don't accept CSV files. For this reason, our team reconfigured the export tool to provide PDFs instead of CSV.

I can make 2 recommendations at this time. The first one is, I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers with similar interest in your request.  The second one would be using an online tool like Quickbooks Online and importing your Square Balances to it so that you can sort and even export what you need to meet your needs.

Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).

I hope this information is helpful!
