Can team members submit cash deposits?

Can my field technicians make cash deposits using their POS app? I don't believe they have access to the balance section of the POS app, and I don't want to give that to them. But it would be immensely helpful if they could deposit cash without having to make a special trip to the office to settle up. The cash deposit instructions don't seem to allow for such a deposit, but I thought I'd ask since it seems so close to a perfect scenario for me.

Hey there @FonFixR  As you suspected,  unfortunately, at this time the new cash deposits feature requires access to balance section of the POS app. Yours is an outlier situation probably since most of us don’t want team members doing cash deposits for various reasons. Because of that, it probably just didn’t come up in the beta test. There were no sellers like you in that test. 

This sounds like a perfect topic for a feature request. Just head over to the Ideate Board and submit it to the Square POS team. If you do submit it, post a link to the request here. I, for one, will like/upvote it.
