Ability to create multiple debit cards for square checking

To increase convenience by not having to share a single card between multiple business owners and/or employees, I would like the ability to create multiple business cards for authorized users in our square checking.

This will accomplish a few things:

• If someone loses a card, others still have one while it's being replaced
• We can track who made which transactions
• Everyone has access to a card when they need it instead of waiting to get it from someone else. What if the person with the card is across town, across the country, out of the country, or just at lunch when you need them?
• No one has to use a card with someone else's name on it. Most places don't check these days. But in the rare chance they do, it's helpful if names match up.
• It looks like people have been looking for this feature since 2019. There are several merged threads.

We need this feature! Multiple owners need to have their own debit cards for all the reasons listed above. 

Also, in the event that a card is tampered with, lost or stolen, having another card would stop delays while waiting on a new card. 

As an owner we also have 1 card number for our physical spending, and a 2nd card number attached to our online bills. 

As stated by original poster, people have been asking for this feature since 2019.

Yes, we need access to make digital cards for single use or other employees. 

Admin should be able sets card limits, turn off/on, delete, and transfer money onto the digital cards.

I agree. I have two employees who make purchases with our square card and sometimes they need a physical card for in person purchases. I would love this feature. I’m almost convinced that I need to go to another platform to have this capability.

YES! Please! 

The co-owner of our business has had to use his personal card because merchants have checked ID. The Square card has my name on it. 

We've found a work around by me keeping the physical card and him having the card in Apple Pay. But, I'd love the ability for us to have multiple cards for everyone on our staff that needs one. (With that said, also the ability to track which staff member is spending what on their card.)

Definitely need this feature quickly please. The Apple Pay is a workaround, but it doesn't allow me to know who spent what, I have two other employees who need to make purchases on behalf of the company. I really like Square checking, but not having this ability is making me consider another banking option.

Reading the thread it looks like this is the biggest hold back on the Square company compared to any other credit platforms
