Allow a client to pay for multiple appointments in one transaction

Sometimes there are a party of four people, each with their own appointment. 

One person decides to pay for everyone. 

Rather than having to do four separate credit card transactions, it would be nice to be able to select all four appointments and charge the credit card once. 

Not only will this make checkout faster, it will also reduce people questioning why their credit card statement has four similar charges at the same business.

@nailed_by_steph we have never had an issue with double-booking by doing this, we don’t add the service until we actually check out the customer so both staff still show their appointments at the right time. We also will book a couples appointment as just that, we have a service called couples massage that cannot be booked online. When we have an appointment for it we use the couples massage service and assign it to one of the staff then block a personal event for the other staff at that same time. Again, not ideal, and it will not track staff or commissions correctly, but we don’t use Square for that anyway because of these exact issues.

@DragonMassage unfortunately adding it after is just not an option for us. ALL of our appointments are booked ahead of time. We don't work with walk-ins and we also use the "personal event" option but there are plenty of booking services that allow this feature and we pay for premium Square features. This is extra time and work for STAFF that I PAY hourly when we have more high-level operations to complete on a daily basis. We have over 2,000 clients so it would be a headache to have to move to a new system.

@nailed_by_steph we are right there with you. We have been considering switching over to another appointment booking site that would allow us to set up packages for couples massages, etc, but the only one we have found does not integrate with Square for payments. There are several features that we would like to see implemented within Square that other sites offer, but we cannot find a single site that has all of them. It just feels like the people at Square are just not concerned with adding features that the majority of us are looking for.

It would be great if we could group 2 different customers during checkout. Example: Martha has an appointment with Rylie and Claudia has an appointment with Bailey but Martha wants to pay for Claudia's appointment.

There's currently no way to group 2 tickets and select the payee on the services. We have to add the services to the existing ticket and then make sure the stylist gets paid correctly.

This screenshot may help when understanding how impactful this is for service based businesses using Square Appointments. In order for us to schedule a tandem appointment (services done by two different technicians at the same time) the appointment has to be booked separately (screenshot 2). Once the service is complete, to check out through Appointments for Square POS we have to then combine the appointments (screenshot 1), if this is done prior to the appointment then other customers cannot book that time slot.
