The ability to customize the email notifications is great, however the sms notification is very limited. Allowing customization, if possible, would be a welcome upgrade.

@nailsbyjlyn @Kenzi Right now you can only edit the email confirmations for Square Appointment and we're tracking the request to be able to edit text messages too! We'll share any updates in this thread.

 

@Kenzi You can change the cut-off time that a client can cancel an Appointment from the Calendar & Booking section of your Appointments Dashboard: 

  1. Scroll down to Online Scheduling.
  2. Click on the dropdown menu below Cut-off time for allowing clients to cancel or reschedule > choose a new time.
  3. Click Save.

Please remove my post from this merge this is not the same thing and I am unable to find any area that allows me to show pricing In the initial confirmation of a booked appt to the client. Please provide me with very specific instructions to fix this.

I am a counselor and want clients to be aware I can do phone sessions with them. How do I add a special message to their appointment reminder? Or can I send out a text message to active clients via the system?

Right now, this feature isn't available for text Appointment reminders. There are some helpful tips on editing the response via email in this thread

I have another question for you when I send out text reminders to my clients ,could we add something to the reminder as a hairstylist if they are sick that they should reschedule their appointments ,and any other extra requirements that we might have to put on their reminder appointment?

Because of the coverd- 19 thing?

Sadly this request is still being tracked on this thread, but I definitely why this feature is needed more than ever due to the current climate. I moved you so you can be notified when customizing text reminders become a thing.

When someone books an appointment they receive an automatic message that says that I will call them.  How can I change the message to state that they will call me? Thanks!

I merged your question to this feature request board because right now, you're only able to edit email confirmations, not text. If this changes, we'll give you and others a heads up on this thread.

It is SO important for us to be able to customize the actual message in the text that our clients receive when they get their text reminder of an appointment! We now have a whole slew of COVID-19 info that we email to our clients, and we need to make sure they know to check for that before they come to their appointment! PLEASE find a way to be able to customize the text reminders that our clients receive!

We are close to reopening after the mandated closures due to Covid-19. To safely do so my state has compiled a list of questions we MUST verify with clients before we are able to see them. I'm needing to include these in their confrimation texts/emails. 

 

How do I change the standard message to a more detailed one????

Are you using Square Marketing to send your client emails? Or are you referring to the confirmation email that is sent after a client makes an appointment with you?

 

I'll keep an eye out for your reply.
