Re: View Open Tickets from Dashboard
Hello! I'd also like to see a feature for accessing open tickets in the desktop Dashboard.
I do all billing remotely for a laundromat. We have corporate clients who send us their individual customers laundry for processing. We need to collect all the individual customers for a given month and compile that data into a single invoice for the corporate client while still keeping the amounts for each individual intact (not merged together so the corporate client can bill each customer accordingly).
Currently, our staff enters all the information into Square using open tickets for me to compile the individual customer data into a single monthly invoice. While I can access the open tickets on my cell phone app, the process takes a lot of extra time because I cannot easily transfer the open ticket data to my computer. (If there is an easier way to do this - please let me know!)
It would be lovely if open tickets would display on the desktop Dashboard in the transactions section (labelled as Open Ticket) where we can export to excel for easier compilation for invoicing larger accounts with multiple tickets.
Especially with the recent pandemic, I think this will be an invaluable feature for remote access for managers who aren't on site at the business. Thank you for your consideration. I really do like the functionality and support Square offers. I hope all find ways to do better, safer business. Be well.

Square is valued at 6 billion dollars. We've been asking for this feature for almost a year now. We've also been asking for customizable form questions for even longer. When is this stuff going to roll out? Is work even being done on the appointments platform? Or has it been mothballed?

Just wanted to jump in and assure you that Square & really absolutely listen to & work their hardest to implement our ideas.
They are constantly adding new features to every product, and Appointments is no exception.
I've been in the community for a bunch of years, and the number of suggestions that have been pitched in the general community, and especially in the Beta community, that have been created as working features is uncountable. And the number of them that I personally suggested & requested are also extraordinarily high.
With the world & country & small-business-community as insane as it's been over the last month or two, the focus has been to concentrate on pushing features that are imperative for handling online sales & pickup orders & delivery - and just in the first 2 weeks of this thing, they pushed 4 new key feature requests into full creation. It's incredible. And since then, a lot more.
But the more people ask for features, the more priority they get, and once the world calms down, more features will be implemented.
They'll get there. They're working on things.
Hope this helps - keep suggesting ideas, Square listens.
Just be patient - there's a lot of requests.
