Product Nicknames for POS

Is it possible to have product names and product nicknames - and the ability to choose which one you use to show outwardly to the overall system - either in the POS grid or in the library? When we send out purchase orders, we need to have indicated the exact name of the product to ensure that we get exactly what we've ordered. However, to an employee, there is a short form or nickname that is used in everyday transactions. To satisfy both needs from a managerial and an employee perspective, it would be great to be able to have both a product name and a nickname and a selection option to decide which to use throughout the POS system.

While we do not have this feature developed at this time, I can see how it would be incredibly helpful to have internal item names/terms, and external ones. I'll make sure to pass this feature request along to our Product Teams, and move your post to the feature request board. Thanks again!
