We send a lot of invoices for items entered into our Square account. We ship via Shipstation and our packing slips list item SKU's. SEVERAL of our customers have requested seeing the SKU's on their invoice (from Square) to match with the SKU's on their pack slip (from Shipstation).
Items in Square already have a SKU attached to them, why on Earth can't I make that visible on my invoices?! I'm about to head back over to Intuit to send my invoices...

It's not currently something that's added to the Invoice, but thanks for providing an example; I can see how that would be useful, @WellMade.
For the time being, you could also add the SKU to either the Item Name or Item Description field, and this would be included in your Invoice. Hope that helps!

How is this not a thing? Why doesn't it look like when you print labels with the name & SKU? I have products with identical names & different SKUs because they are from different suppliers with different costs. Same prices though. When I create an invoice, I have absolutely no idea what product I am actually charging people for!
You said to add the SKU to the description but that doesn't help when creating an invoice. Also, I have 2,000 items. It's not too much to ask to see the SKU. Again, exactly like you see it when creating labels.

I just sent out 140+ invoices. Skus are important, not descriptions. How can we get skus to appear on invoices? Its a big enough issue for us, the $22k we just invoiced may go to another cc processor.

To make SKUs visible on invoices, you'll need to add them to the item name.
