Inventory question.

Is it possible for me to set it up so when I sell out of an item, it is removed from my inventory/items?

Hey @free_wick, welcome to the seller community!

 

Thanks for pointing this out—right now, the system doesn't offer the ability to automate removing an item for sale when the inventory counts zero out. This is to accommodate cases where inventory reconciliation may be off and items are still available for sale. That being said, can you reply with more on why automatically removing the item for sale would be helpful for your business? I'd like to surface more of your experience with our Point of Sale team.

I am in Direct Sales and I only use Square at events.  Removing inventory is important to me because if someone asks me if I have X in stock, I want to be able view my current inventory in just a few clicks.

 

Currently I have a list of every item I had in stock when I created my item list.  

 

I've replied that I do have X, only to find out I sold it last week. 

 

I carry almost a thousand items in my personal stock so an up to date inventory is extremely important to me.
