Under the Report section for the Square Dashboard there is a settings section. Currently, it only has "Reporting Hours". While this is helpful it needs some additional settings.
1. Reporting Hours should also apply to the Sales Trends screen as well (currently it applies to all the other reports)
2. Add Default sales amount: This should allow you to choose between the Gross Sales or the Net Sales as the information you want to be displayed on the Sales Summary and Sales Trend reports.
3. Add Default compared to: you should be able to set the default for what you want the Sales Summary and Sales Trend to compare to - last week or same week last year.
4. Adding compared to: same week last year and custom date to Sales Summary report (like in the Sales Trends)
5. Adding Filters to the Sales Trend report to allow you to compare item or category sales to the trend so you can compare how one item or one category sold week over week or year over year.
