Feature Request: Layaways/Deposits for orders

Request for partial payments in the form of deposits towards layaway orders for customers. This has been a highly requested feature on many discusion threads.

Are there currently any API solutions available for this?

Is there a timeline of when a feature like this may be implemented?

Hi there. 

This is definitely a feature request that I've heard from other sellers. 

While I don't have a timeline for you at the moment, hopefully we can get this implemented in the future. 

I'll make our Product Team aware of the request and feel free to reach out to your fellow Square Sellers for insight on any workarounds that they use themselves.

Come on Square! For reals....quit making promises of an integrated Layaway or DO IT already! Ive been with Square since 2013 and was told this would be an included feature soon (back in 2013).  Please retailers lets all bombard Square until they do this.....or lets find a new service.
