Feature Request: Delivery Area by Map Boundary

We've started delivering beer within the city of Seattle, which has some pretty distinct natural geographical boundaries.  Currently, the "delivery area" feature in the setup menu only allows you to define the distance radius in which you'll deliver beer.  The major problem with that for us is that there are easy-to-reach customers at one end of that radius and a substantial body of water to cross at the other.  It would be great if we could define/refine our delivery range based on picking boundary streets on a map.  As it stands now, we're stuck with either shortening our radius and leaving out customers we could feasibly serve or extending it out to the maximum of our reachable range and manually rejecting customers that the website says we serve.  Is this a feature in development/would it be possible to refine from the existing delivery options?

I really like the idea @FBCSeattle, it makes a ton of sense and would also love to see Square implement this.

Hi there, @FBCSeattle 👋 Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Seller Community! Good to hear from you again. There has been so much change to the Online Store as of late, and its great to see our Sellers still looking above and beyond for more features to bring into the fold.

I agree with Matt - this idea is golden. I've seen this implemented with some local businesses who use other platforms locally in my area, and I think this would be a great addition to the Online Store.

I'm flagging your post over to our Product Teams as we speak, but I'm also going to move it over from this board to our Online Store Feature Request board for easy record keeping as well.

We will hit you back when we have news to share here. Thanks, again!

Thanks, @Joe .  If mapping by street is too granular to be feasible, would it be possible to incorporate some sort of address checking?  Some of the places around town here are doing delivery by zip code, and our goal is ultimately to serve just our city.  That seems like it might be simpler to incorporate technically, if that helps.

That totally makes sense, @FBCSeattle - and we agree, this sounds like it would be an easier solution to implement into our Online Store.

I am surfacing this over to our Product Teams for further visibility. Should any of these edits come to fruition, we will be sure to bounce back here and update everyone. Thanks, again!
