FEATURE REQUST: Collet customer information to create a customer record
As of right now, I have to have my customers fill out a google form and then I manually enter all their information into a new customer record in square. This is way too time consuming as I have to do this with over 500 customers each month.
Is there a plan or is there a way I don't know about to send them a link to create a customer record and have it save in square?

While I have the ability to request shipping information for each customer, square does not save that information in the customer record. This is a problem. IT is a very manual process to go back into each customer record and add in address info for every customer. Can you please add this to the list of features that need to be added to square?
The best solution would actually be to create a way for me to collect customer data directly in square and have it create a customer record. Right now I have to have people fill out a google form and then I have to manually move that info to a customer record. Very time consuming.

This is not exactly the same issue. I am not looking to collect email addresses. I am looking to create a customer record without having to do it manually. Using the email collection marketing tool would be great if I could collect more than name and email. I need to know what state they are in so I know if I have to include sales tax on their invoice. If I could customize that customer info collection then this would be fantastic. But until then, this is not the same issue and the need tomanually create customer records is not efficient.

I realize that this still leaves a gap, requiring manual entry but I hope these can help with the process for now. We will circle back to this thread with any other developments that may be useful.
