Can I set up a sales tax and a surcharge in the Online Store?

How to set up online store so customer pays 2% local tax plus 3.3% card fee.  No state or federal tax.

Hey @buffalojack7 - for now, only one tax can be applied to online orders and is done automatically depending on where you're shipping to. Also the ability to add a surcharge fee to Online orders is not a thing with the Online Store either.

We are not shipping.  Customer is pre-ordering and picking up at farm.

We would like to be able to charge an In-store pickup fee. When you check out I see the "In-store pick up" - 0.00. How can we add a pick up in-store charge?

There isn't a way to add a pickup fee or any surcharge for that matter. I've created a separate thread to track the need for a surcharge feature for the Online Store. Plus this helps us quickly find you when we have hopeful news to report around this request .

Hey @Cyndi2- There's not a way to add a fee to Online Store orders at this time. Similar to what JustinC mentions on this thread. If this changes at any point we'll make sure to share an update.

I too very much would like to be able to add a surcharge to my online site which is currently the ONLY way our cafe is accepting orders as we re-open with fewer staff. I am very frustrated as this was a way to cover (quickly) our escalated operating costs. Now I have to update all prices individually.

I'm looking for the option to add a small 'convenience fee' for PICKUP orders only. (not tipping). Is this a possibility in the current Square for Retail software?

Hey @Loganredstar! Thanks for posting in the Seller Community and welcome! 

I went ahead and moved your post over to this thread where we're tracking this feature request. Right now, you can only charge taxes for Square Online orders. Sorry about that!
