No CVV

How can you put through a transaction without a CVV?

We take a 50% deposit for a short-term letting business.  Booking enquiries through our website do not contain a CVV.  Is it possible to put through a transaction without one?  We have the square terminal.

The CVV is required in order to process a card not present payment. The workaround would be to require a CVV to be submitted with your booking enquiries, or perhaps you could reach out to your customer, for example via a call, to confirm their CVV number and process the payment. I hope this helps!
