How do you handle cash withdrawal by a customer?

Hi,

We allow Club Members to withdraw cash by paying in EFTPOS, they need cash for small items like raffle tickets.

Other than doing a "cash out of cash drawer" process, is there anyway to set up an item/button for cash withdrawal?

Thanks

Hi @MBC-Bowler, this is a great question.

To clarify here, Square is a payment facilitator that allows you to accept credit cards from customers for payment for goods and services only. We do not support manual or automated cash disbursements. This would be considered a breach of our Payment Terms and may result in a temporary hold on your Square Transfers.

You can find more information for unsupported industries under Section 3 of the Payment Terms.

Please reach out to us should you have any further questions here.

Thanks Laurie for the clear answer!

Have to tell them to come cash prepared or hit the ATM across the road.

Cheers

Thanks for the clarification on this, @Laurie_ ! I was struggling to find the exact references for why it isn't best practice to do this--I've had some pushy customers lately. (And it gives me no greater joy than to make someone properly read a set of terms & conditions.)
