How do I get past 'Powered by Square' screen when pressing Checkout on Terminal?
I have just bought a Square Terminal and it is successfully taking payments when I use the iPad as the checkout. How do I get to the checkout screen on the Terminal itself? I can swipe for the menu, but when I click Checkout it goes to a black 'Powered by Square' screen. Surely I can see my checkout from the Terminal screen itself?

If you are using Square Terminal as a payment device linked to an iPad, I do believe you will not be able to use the Terminal to initiate checkout - the Terminal essentially becomes a seperate payment device connected to your main POS device. There is some further into about how things work here. This article mentions:
"Once you connect your Square Terminal to a compatible device, it will stay on a โPowered by Squareโ screen. From there, youโll be able to change your settings and access support resources."
This to me reads that the functionality of the terminal is limited to settings/support while it's connected to a POS on another device. I would say there is likely a technical limitation at play here. You can use the Terminal as an independent payment device to checkout, or use it as a connected payment device to checkout an iPad/tablet - but not both at the same time.
