square fees calculation in Jotform
I am using JotForm integration to accept payment deposits from customers however, when I use the calculation amount * .029 + .30, I still come up about .02 cents short. What calculation should I use the receive the total amount once it comes over to my square account?
Example $15 * .029 +.30 = $15.74 however Square takes $15.76 which leaves me with $14.98 instead of the full $15.00. Someone please chime in and provide the right formula. Thanks.

If you send the amount of $15.00 to Square to be processed square does not add the fee to the amount to increase it to $15.74. Square would show $15.00 - .74 (15 *2.9% +.30 = .735 rounded to .74) and show a transferred amount of $14.26. So I am confused as how if you run a CC transaction for $15.00 you should still are getting $15 or the $14.98 deposited after Square takes their fee?
With Square for Retail paid here is what I get:
I had a sale of $15.88. The sale was Tapped 2.5% plus 10 cents Square says Fees are 50 cents for this. Transferred amount was $15.38
15.88 * .025 + .10 = .497.... rounded up is .50 cents. This is the Fee Square charged me which reduced the Transaction from $15.88 minus their 50 cent fee leaves me with $15.38.
You should be able to look at your transactions and see these numbers on a Receipt.
