"You paid" notification vs automatic customised receipt

I have been testing the online checkout payment links which are great. However, when a payment is made the customer receives a fairly bland "you paid" notification. I then have to manually send (email/text) my customised receipt which looks much better.

 

Is there a way to stop the "you paid" notifications and set the customer to automatically receive my customised receipt?

At this time there isn't a way to send your receipt instead of the order confirmation email that your customer received (it's a great workaround though - good thinking!). I can see how useful a more detailed order confirmation email notification or an order confirmation that reflected your receipt that would be. I'll share your feedback with the Checkout Links team!
