kitchen printer station setup
Im installing my new Square register in my food truck. I have the Star USB/Ethernet receipt printer and an Epson ethernet kitchen printer. How do I get the system to recognize the KP when it is routed via ethernet to the receipt printer?

Hello @JaeS
As long as your register is on the same network, you should have no issue seeing the printers.
What does your setup look like on your truck? Do you have a router your KP plugs into? How does that router connect to the outside world? Are you running your register via wifi or direct plug with the router?
Ethernet printers need to live on a network that can access the Internet to work correctly with Square. My fear for your setup is that most routers need a hardwired connection to the internet. Wifi hotspots won't cut it unfortunately. If you're connecting your register to the Internet via a hotspot, your USB printer will work but the ethernet one won't.
