Hi, We just caught the problem that when we export our invoice for last year, we just found that some invoice ID are missing. When we try to find out why, we realize that every time when we create an invoice, if we want to change it or discard it, the invoice number will be missing. For example, I created an invoice number is #001193 customer A, if the customer A changed her mind, then I discard it. Next time when I create the invoice for customer B, the invoice number will be #001194; therefore, #001193 is missing. Is there anybody caught the some problem? Please help us out!!

Hello @LivingWaterPlus - this is the expected behavior when you create and then discard an invoice.
For example:
If you have only started to create invoice #000004 and have not saved it, then press the X in the top left-hand corner, the next invoice you create will be #000004.
However, when creating an invoice, if you select either Save as Draft or Send, these actions complete the creation of the invoice. When you delete saved or sent invoice #000004, the next invoice you create will be #000005.
I hope this helps clarify what you're seeing here!

I'd recommend getting in touch with a tax professional if you're not sure how to broach that topic - please keep in mind that we aren't able to offer tax advice. Hope this helps point you in the right direction, @LivingWaterPlus. Please let us know if anything else comes up! 🙂
