graphical representation of sales by month

i need to see a graph that runs for a full month when I have selected for example "Last month" as the basis for my report. Plus, if I add up the various figures from the graphical representation they do not add up to the figures in the table (or are these lost as Ionly get 23 days on the graph rather than a full month).
