My photos of my products are being zoomed in on - and the photo does not show the entire product.
Can i turn off the zoom which is making my photos zoomed in?

Whoops!
You're right, @vhdeyewear - you won't be able to adjust the zoom level for the images you add on the Edit Item screen. The ability to edit images mentioned in this article pertains to images elsewhere on your website - outside of your item pages.
The automatic zoom for images you add on the Edit Item screen will kick in if the image is 640 x 640 pixels, or larger. If you do not want the zoom to kick in, you will need to edit your image to be under 640 pixels wide/tall. I hope this helps!

Hi there @vhdeyewear - are you adding these photos to a Photo Gallery, or are you referring to the photos associated with the items in your Item Library?

I added these photos via the item library when adding new items.
I am seeing the zoomed in view on the customer facing "online store" view

It sounds like you're adding images to your items within the Item Library of your Square Dashboard, @vhdeyewear. When adding images here, we recommend a size of 720x720 pixels, as images added here will be squarely-cropped:
To add rectangular images to your items, you'll want to start by heading to your Square Online Dashboard (Items > Item Library > select the item you want to edit). When adding an image here, you'll have the option to adjust the zoom level by editing the photo. We recommend images that are 72 PPI and at least 1,000 pixels in width/height for best results.
If you'd like to use images added to your items via your Online Dashboard as the primary images, you'll need to check your settings (Online Dashboard > Settings > Square sync). Underneath the Sync settings section, you have the option to toggle ON/OFF the Sync product images setting. Toggling this on will mean that when you add images to your items in your Online Dashboard, the primary (first) image will be synced back and appear in your Item Library.
Let me know if questions come up about this!

You're currently editing your items through the Item Library of your Square Dashboard, @vhdeyewear, and all images will be cropped into squares if added here. To edit your images the way you are wanting to, you will need to edit them through your Square Online Dashboard rather than the Item Library of your Square Dashboard.
My Best Answer in this thread should help clarify how to locate your Square Online Dashboard. Once you've made it to your Square Online Dashboard, you'll select Items from the left-hand sidebar, then Item Library.
From here you can select the item you want to edit and will see an Edit Item page like this:

2. clicked items
3. Clicked item library
4. Clicked an individual item

That is disappointing. We have 1000s of product images that we need to upload and do not have the resources to resize the images before uploading. The ability to control the zoom is available on lots of other platforms.
