Did you go to the Square Online portion of the site and turn the items to "visible"?
If you added items through the basic Square Dashboard, you have to go to the Online Dashboard to add additional pictures, place items into Online Categories and mark as visible, hidden, or unavailable.
You'll find the "Online" button in the left column of the Square Dashboard. Once there you can go to the Items Library and mark items as visible.

The Online Dashboard?
From the main Square Dashboard (on a Desktop browser), you should see "Home" in the top left of the screen. When you click on the three line icon to the left of "Home" It should give you a big menu list on the left side. Scroll down towards the bottom of that list and you'll find one listed as "Online".
Once you click that and it loads, you can find your items library on the left side menu under Items>Item Library.

@Valentina @When using the née square for restaurant feature of marking items unavailable it would help immensely if that also marked them unavailable online. Also, I was cleaning up my app last night and some items marked hidden for online were available. Any thoughts?

The artesana soap is listed as hidden on the online item list. However when you go to the online store - it’s there. Lots of items are this way.

@Goldneye I see you answered a similar question here. But the "hidden" item isn't being brought up via a google search. It's just straight up showing as available even though the settings are definitely set to show "hidden." Do you happen to have any pointers to share?

I just wanted to pop in and clarify one thing, @mulekickmag that I may not have made clear earlier. If you mark your items as hidden, they will remain hidden from the Shop All and Order Online shop pages. However, you can still add a hidden item to a Featured Items section for it to appear on your website.
You can remove items from the Featured Items section by navigating to the page in the editor, and clicking on the section. Click the three dots to the right of the item name you wish to remove from the section. You may need to re-publish for the changes to reflect on the live site.

@BernadetteA @That’s great!! Thanks!! Could you answer another question about splitting an item? We have even looked at changing POS over this feature!! I know how to split items between checks and split total cost of the bill but I want to know i hi ow to split an appetizer or dessert between two friends but not the whole ticket!! TYIA

I'm having the same problem and I have gone into the items page and marked all the items I want to be visible online. However, the items are still showing "Unavailable" or "Available Later" beneath and customer are unable to order those items.

Hi @Chickiebum,
Have you setup time-based category by any chance? If an item is coming as Available Later, that usually because the customers are trying to order outside of the time the item is available.
Other things to check:
- Make sure you fulfilment settings are setup. For example, if items are available for Delivery, you'll want to check your Delivery settings are all set.
- Make sure the location is set to Physical within your Dashboard.
- Make sure items are in-stock.

Hi,
I'm having a different type of issue where the item was entered into my Items portion, then when I go ONLINE and the look for it in my usual Online Items, it doesn't even show up for me to make it visible or not. I have to go to the top right button that says ADD ITEMS and then I find the item BUT when I bring that over, the online listed item than says that it is OUT OF STOCK and has INSUFFICIENT INVENTORY. I don't want to update the stock on the online item because it will then change the overall stock in the system on both the POS side and online side. Do you know what could be causing this? I tried to see if there was some preference that was causing this. This is only happening for some of my new items not all.
