Great question. There's an extra step to add a note to a payment using the iPad (vs. iPhone).
To add a note to a sale on an iPad:
- Enter in a custom amount or select an item as usual > tap on the amount or item from the Current Sale tab.
- A pop-up will appear > enter the note under Notes and Quantity.
- After adding the note, tap the blue Save button.
- You'll see the note show up on the Current Sale tab.
From there, you can add additional items or continue on with completing the payment. The note you add will be available in your Transactions tab. Learn more about this in our Support Center: Summaries and Reports from the Online Dashboard.
