When is customer charged for scheduled egift card?

I have a customer who wants to verify that she purchased an egift card to be sent next week. Her credit card hasn't been charged yet, and I don't see any transaction for the amount she ordered. As far as I can tell, she didn't actually order the card. When are people charged for scheduled egift cards? Would she have been charged already if the order had gone through or not until her specified date?

The card is charged immediately upon purchase, not when the scheduled egift card is delivered. There's possibility your customer didn't complete their purchase properly if you and your customer are having trouble locating the payment.
