Using Square campaign emails vs automation for google reviews?

was going to send an email out last night and couldn't figure out the difference between just sending a regular email or sending a google review kind of email (but square called it an automation). thoughts?

Hey there @grantlantalawn 

The main difference between a regular campaign and an Automation is that the automation happens as soon as the specific event is met. On the other hand, a campaign happens on a particular cadence, manually, and by adding a particular audience (that you select and would also have to update manually if it changes).

This is an example of automation that will happen whenever any customer purchases for the first time. You will still be able to edit the content of the email sent but you will not have to choose to which customers you will send it as the automation aspect of it will identify(trigger) who qualifies for an email and who doesn't.

In this same case, I cannot use a trigger. In the case of Google reviews, the ONLY trigger is "when a customer becomes a regular (3 visits)"  My business model doesnt have that luxury. And, that is exactly what I am trying to build, but I need the reviews of my 1 time visitors.
Any way we could edit the "triggers" or at least the definition of "Regulars"?

I see what you're saying @TheP3. At this time automation triggers aren't editable. I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers with similar interest in your request.
