Transferring Account Info to a New Square Account
I am purchasing a business that uses Square. I have created my own, new Square account and need to know how to transfer the following segments of information from the existing Square account. As the new owner I need to be able to recognize the existing customers of the business and the following information.
1) Customer List (Name / Email / Phone #)
2) Loyalty Subscribers (Name / Email / Address / Phone # / Points Balance / etc.)
3) Gift Cards (Card number / Gift Code and Amount / When Purchased)
3) Inventory / Items (both current and past history / Images that are associated to items)
4) Sales History (from account open to account close)

You can export customers by navigating to the customers screen on the old square account and choosing to export. You'll then be able to import them into your newly created account.
You can do the same with inventory the same way. Export and then import.
I don't believe you can import sales history. I'm unsure of gift cards and subscribers.

Hello, @eruehls -Welcome to our Seller Community! ⭐️
As mentioned by @alexandriak, there is a number of things you can import to your new Square account.
Please see below:
1) Customer List (Name / Email / Phone #) - This list can be transferred if the contacts are stored in the Customer Directory tab.
2) Loyalty Subscribers (Name / Email / Address / Phone # / Points Balance / etc.) - Our direct Customer Success team can help with this.
3) Gift Cards (Card number / Gift Code and Amount / When Purchased) - Our direct Customer Success team can help with this as well.
3) Inventory / Items (both current and past history / Images that are associated to items) - This data can be exported and imported directly from the Items tab located in your Square Online Dashboard. You can find more information here.
4) Sales History (from account open to account close) - This information cannot be transferred to your new account.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Have a good day!

Hello, @eruehls! Violet here, following up for @sayra. It looks like you still need help with gift card migration so I kept the ball rolling on your inquiry.
The gift card migration process will move all or none of the gift cards. This means that gift cards that have not yet been activated and gift cards with a current balance available will migrate over.
I hope this information is helpful but please do let me know if you have any additional questions.

One more question for you Sayra if you don't mind.
Will I be able to use/sell the remaining inventory of plastic gift cards of the previous Square Account? The account that I am transferring?
Thank you,
eruehls
