Transferring Account to New Square Account
I have seen various aspects that the account cannot be transferred to a new owner, however this is not my query, I'm more after spefics of how much of the old Square account can actually be downloaded and then uploaded to the new account. Please see below..
I am looking at selling my business and as such, wanted to know if its possible to download and transfer (upload to they Square account) the following segments of information so the new owners can then continue the business?
1) Loyalty Subscribers (Names / Email / Address / how many points received / how many already claimed)
2) Gift Cards (Card number / Gift Code and Amount / when purchased)
3) Timecards (Hours worked of previous employees and current)
4) Inventory / Items (both current and past history / images that are associated to items)
5) Sales History (from account open to account close)
Thank you.

Hi @hazeicecream - I'm not sure how many Sellers have gone through selling a business and this might be why no one has been able to chime in yet. This question is probably best suited to our Support Team. If you give us a call, they'd be more than happy to answer these questions for you.
Best of luck!

Thanks @katieand I was hoping this wouldn't be the case to be honest, but seems so. I've been in touch with support on email and they can download a CSV file of "transactional" history, however I'm looking for a lot more detail of other aspects of the functionality of Square, probably my fault for taking too much advantage of the cool tools available.
I don't want to be in a position where I advise the new owners, I can sell you the business, but your have to build the customer base from scratch 😞
