Sync Square catalogue with a Facebook Shop

I have been trying to sync my Square items catalogue with my Facebook Page Shop without success.  All the instructions seem a bit incoherent to me?  The Facebook Pixel is not accepted without meta data being added to each item, which it seems can only be done by a software engineer.  If you try not using the Pixel route to sync and auto update, the only other method I can see is to write a spreadsheet using the Facebook template and be constantly updating stock etc by re-writing the spreadsheet.  You can manually enter individual items but again stock levels etc require constant updating, apart from the hassle of manual entry in the first place. Does anyone have any tips?

Hi @HollyCott, really sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue! From checking on my end, once you've connected Square to your Facebook Page, you can choose to install the Pixel automatically and your item library will be synced to Facebook. Alternatively, you can also add the Facebook pixel manually through our Integration tab and be able to complete the installing process on Facebook.

I have tried every option I can find both on Square and Facebook, including the Troubleshooting Guide.... 

 

Will have another look and see what happens.
