I have a concern about the swivvel feature with the Square Stand. Since there's no front facing terminal for customers to key in their PIN you have to turn the iPad around on the stand. Wouldn't moving parts degrade gradually as usage increases, and if so are we covered by warranty?
I am also looking at getting the Square Terminal for when we go to portable events whilst keeping the physical location open as well. Is there any chance of using it alongside the Square Stand so when taking orders we can take payment through the Terminal making it easier than turning the iPad around?
Thanks!

@thecafeguy - everything degrades over time though right? The swivel/turn on the stand feels pretty smooth & Iโm assuming itโs got bearings in there so thereโs a good chance itโll outlast any of the friction stuff on the market.
There was a post about your 2nd point on the US community from one of the mods, & there is also a video on YouTube from Square Developer Account launching the Terminal API.

@thecafeguy as a side note, I love the Terminal over everything else. Every member of my staff (thatโs 2 of us ๐) has one on their belt & Iโve got one on each counter.
The staff clock in & out on them and theyโre all configured slightly differently - so I never have enter a passcode on mine but the staff have to sign in as them, meaning they can only see what they need to. Customers love them & far cheaper (& easier to use) than getting spare iPads or even iPod touches.
