Square Terminal — Credit vs. Debit transactions, Debit not showing up in tips waiting to be settled

We recently added a Square Terminal to our setup. We currently have an IPad with a Square stand which is where we do the majority of our transactions & our reports etc. 

 

I noticed that when using the Terminal, for some reason receipts print differently when ringing up a debit vs. credit card (see pic). The credit card receipts are showing up in the tip settling screen (red circle), but the debit receipts aren’t. The debit receipts are only showing up/have to be settled either by searching the code (blue arrow) or clicking on the individual transaction (green box). Does anyone know why this is or if there is a way to ring up all cards as credit? It’s pretty tedious to have to settle all the debit receipts individually, especially when the bulk of our receipts from transactions run through the iPad are all being settled in the tip settling screen.
