Site Item Text Modifier not appearing at POS

My site items have a required text box modifier that is not showing up with the POS software.

Modifiers from the modifier sets are showing up just fine, but I cannot seem to get an site item modifier working at the same time.

Is it because the modifier sets are not site specific and they are overriding the site specific text box modifier that I am trying to add? Text box modifiers cannot be created in the items modifiers sets, which is pretty dumb.

I have tried removing the (possibly) conflicting modifier sets from the item and only having the text box modifier as the only modifier for the item, but that did not work either.

I swear that I cannot even get a text box to show up for a test item.

Can anyone confirm that the text box modifier even works?

Hello and thanks for your question. To make sure I'm understanding what you want to do, let me summarize what I think you're trying to do...

Do you have an item in your online item inventory that you want to have a customer fill out a text field when they are purchasing this item from your website? And do you also want this text field to show up when you are at your POS checking out in-person?

If so I think the text field modifiers allow a person checking out on your website to include required text, but when that item is added in-store at  your POS, you would have to click on that item on your screen and add a NOTE. I do not think the POS can load the same kind of code that your website displays for your items, even though it may be the same item.
