Shifts - Labor & Tips Custom Start/End not working?

I am trying to answer the question "How much did I spend on labor from 2pm - 6pm in 2022?"

I am using the Shifts - Labor & Tips report. I select "2022" and "Custom start/end 2pm - 6pm" but I see no difference between "all day" for all of 202 and 2pm-6pm for 2022.

Is this broken? How can I determine how much I spent on labor between 2pm - 6pm for all of 2022?

This also does not work when I try to do it for just one month.

There is a difference but it is very strange and not correct. This report is broken, please advise?

None of this makes sense. Here are the labor hours in Square for two days.

And here are two reports: one for the whole day over those two days, and one for just 4pm - 6pm for those two days.

Hi there - thanks for the feedback and reaching out on this topic.

The filter that you are applying is operating correctly, but in a different fashion than you are anticipating.  The time input of 2pm-6pm is applying it as "2pm on the first day until 6pm of the last day" rather than "2pm-6pm on each day".  I'm binging this back to the team to see how we can make this behavior more transparent and/or support the behavior you are requesting to help you pull the proper reporting.
