Setup questions - Locations and items

We are just starting up with Square and have a couple of questions with multiple locations and items. We will be selling our confections and multiple farmer's markets and also on our online store. Should we create a different location for each of the markets and also another one for our online store? Each of the markets have their own sales tax rate and we will be including the sales tax in our pricing.

From what I'm understanding, we will be able to track sales and profitability by having different locations. Correct? Also, we can create an item, have it available for multiple locations and modify the sales tax rate by location.

It is slightly more work but I highly like having each location its own location for tracking and stats etc.   building tax into the price is nice at a farmers market so you aren't dealing with pennies and change.

yes you can assign tax based on location.
