Self serve order cut off times?

We operate a bar/pub and are hoping to use the Square self-serve ordering, alongside POS, so

customers can order from their tables.

 

However, I'd like to be able to disable this feature at a particular time, to prevent customers

ordering past our last orders cut off time.

 

I realise I can login to the square dashboard, navigate to Online->settings -> self serve ordering, and flip the switch but wondered if there was a more automated way, or a simple way our staff could do it from the POS?

Hey @Dirky, just stepping in for Helen here! 

 

If you want team members to manage the Square Online site and toggling fulfilment method on and off, you'd want to give them Full Access to the account. With this permission, they'll be able to manage item catalogue, orders, shipping and other settings associated with Square Online. 

 

And yes, we can definitely flag your feedback with the appropriate in regards to setting date and time for self-serve!

Hello @Dirky! At this time there isn't a way to manager the self-serve ordering from a Square POS. I can understand how it would be useful though. We're continually adding improvements to make it easier to manage everything from the Point of Sale and we'll update this thread if this is available in future!

Thanks for your reply @Helen . I'm wondering what permission a member of staff would need to need to be able to toggle

this switch? Is it possible to submit this as a feature request so we can set days and times for self-serve? Thanks.
