Options not showing up on website

Hi.

 

I am new to Square, actually trying it out before I switch but I am having issues with options. I am putting a test product in with two colour options, creating them in items and then online items with images, when I go to preview my site there is no dropdown to select either brown or black.

 

Any help would be appreciated, I have tried the processes I could find in support but to no avail

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the community!

 

I'd say there's probably going to be a simple fix to this one, however you may want to get in touch with support so they can take a better look into your account and see how things are currently set up. You can call on 0800 098 8008 between 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri.

 

In the meantime though, we might be able to work things out via Seller Community! When you say you're creating the item in Square then again in Online, I'm thinking that perhaps you've created two seperate items here rather than create your items with different options in Square, then syncing this to Square Online?

 

If you're able to take some screenshots of how these items look on each end, or even link your website, this would help give me some more context into what the issue may be!

Hi Seamus.

 

Thanks for the welcome and quick response.

 

i am creating the item in the main item page which would be used by the POS. I am then going to the online section to make the product visible so hopefully only creating a single product / item. I will add screenshots to show what I am doing. I have also screenshot the website ( I wonder if because I am on the trial this is not showing up?)

I'm afraid I'm not sure why this isn't working as intended - everything looks set up as it should be!

 

Definitely get in touch with support on the above number to take a further look into this, they'll be able to take a better look into the account to determine what's happening here.
