Offer a free item on next visit for cash use?

We are trying to figure out how to get more cash sales. We often have employees getting more money from tips then are in cash sales so manager has to take it out from safe.

So we thought to get the customer back offer a free item on next visit if they pay cash. Is there anyway to do this for a future visit? A way that stays on the terminal, so when they visit the next time, there is a free item?

There's not a way to set this up for future visits no.

You could make a 100% promo code for this that can be applied at their next checkout though.
