No, your account will not be automatically closed if you go without transactions. If you want your account closed, navigate from your Dashboard > Account & Settings > Account > Personal Information and scroll to the bottom of the page, where there's a button labeled Deactivate Account. Click on that, then confirm you want to do so and you're finished. If you want, you will be able to reactivate your account in the future.
