Manual discounts not appearing on precharged transactions

I have square appointments linked to my website so customers can schedule sessions and I require prepayment to reserve the spot. I want to manually apply a dollar discount to certain customers, and I thought I could do so by adding a discount before accepting/confirming their appointment in the square app. The appointment details show the discount works, but it's still charging their card the full amount? I don't want to have to refund customers the discount every time this happens.

Hey! This is currently a feature request. There is not a way to add discounts on a prepaid appointment.  Coupons and discounts also do not work on the booking site. You will need to have the customer pay in person and charge the discount then. Thank you!
