Managing Scheduled Pickups
Our online store has the option to schedule advanced pickups, but I cannot figure out exactly how it works and don't want to implement unless I understand it.
1. We allow 6 orders per 15 minute window and generally we make all of them in one push in the kitchen. Why does it allow orders every 5 minutes in the scheduling option? Is this editable?
2. Can you only allow scheduling the day of or can folks always order many days in advance?
3. Does the system manage incoming ASAP orders well? We've had plenty of issues with tickets jumping the line in weird ways and pickup times coming in all sorts of weird ways (which we manage okay, but don't love). I'm nervous this could make it worse.
4. do we decide when the order moves from "upcoming" to "active" orders in our register or is it automatic?
Would love some insights from folks who are using this system. Thanks!

Hey @kirstin -
Welcome to the Community!
1. You have the option to change the time on the orders, so it's more spaced out. This would be different than the prep time. Take a look at this thread and Isabelle's Best Answer
2. There isn't way to restrict how far out your customer can schedule their order pickup. It's best to add a comment somewhere in your pickup instructions that orders can only be scheduled out up to two weeks out.
3 & 4. The pickup time won’t actually have any effect on where it shows in the list; the orders print first-come first-serve. Customers can place any kind of order, pickup, shipping, delivery, etc, and they’ll just be in the order that customers were submitting them no matter what kind of order it is. If you're seeing something a little different I would recommend contacting our Support Team, so they can dig into it.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
