Looking for a barcode scanner

I need to find a barcode scanner that can be used with the Square POS System. They are sold out of them on the square shop so I need to find a replacement, which ones should work?

Find the one you're looking for that is Sold out on Square and search for it on Amazon.    I have heard of some un approved ones working and being connected as an approved type scanner.  I bought a Zebra DS-2208 and a Zebra DS-6878 these are both 2D scanners not needed for Square but when I bought them they were not on Squares approved hardware list.  These two work fine with a Square Stand.  I also tried a Terra Scanner, that did not work but I use that for inventory tracking and a laptop.   Search these forums also for barcode scanners because I see others have used unapproved models that work fine and maybe they can let you know too.  Just know that if you buy one that is not supported, it may not work, and read the reviews sometime they mention if it will or will not work with Square.  Also look for a return policy, maybe you can return it if it does not work for your situation.
