The title of this thread has been edited from the original: specific day deliver
Is it possible to have an item available to order but only on one specific day.
For example, I have a category for mothers day and would only want to have the mothers day item available specifically on mothers day and not for customers to order before/after. is this possible?

Hey @ndp03, from reading what you describe, there isn't a straightforward way to set this up but the following might do as a workaround:
- First, create a modifier and apply it only to this specific item. The modifier will be the delivery date, 13th and 14th.
- Since you don't want any other item to be delivered on this date, you can restricted these dates. This will ensure that customers will not be able to select them when placing an order.
It's important to note that when you're using modifier as a workaround for pickup/delivery date, the default messaging/auto generated time will still appear on the order confirmation email since there isn't a way to turn this off at the moment. In this case, you may want to add extra information in the item description or create a banner/pop up asking customers to refer to the delivery date they've selected in the modifier, rather than the auto-generated one.

You could make those items hidden until the day.

But customers would need to order in advance.
For example I would like to make available a 'Mothers day box' for ordering now, but for delivery only on the 13th & 14th (mothers day weekend) but not available for customers to order on any other day.
I would not want other items to be available to order for these dates.

I want to add a mothers day box for people to order but only exclusively for mothers day weekend.
Is there a way to allow customers to pre-order now for delivery on the 13th & 14th but only for this certain items?
likewise, I would like all other items to be be available to order at any time except for that particular weekend when only the mothers day items will be available to order

Could do with some extra info... What do you sell & what format are you using on the site? As it will be different depending on shipping/local delivery etc.
